Chester's 1st B'day
Suzie: Chester (High Voltage and Lady Margaret) has now turned 1!He is a very handsome and well behaved boy, though
he does challenge us now and then. We are happy to have a Corgi w/a tail! he uses it as a rutter for balancing, and it helps
him make smooth quick turns. A wagging tale sure lets us know when he's happy. Thanks for a wonderful pet! Sarah

Hi Suzy,
We never wrote to tell you how our Rosa ("daughter" of Maggie and High-voltage) is doing. We got her last December and
she is thriving. She is a great dog, with a great temperament. We can wrestle with her, take to other people's houses and
take food right out of her mouth. She has been on vacation to North Wildwood, Cape May and Lake George. She is getting
ready for her first birthday and we just wanted to let you know how much we enjoy her. Right after we got her a friend
who already had 3 Shelties, decided she needed another puppy...others followed. We started a trend. If you need a
testimonial, we're the people to ask.
Thanks,

Hi Susie --
Thought you might enjoy a little progess report on Bentley, my Corgi. He was born on July 1 -- I think he's just thriving.
He is a wonderful little guy - smart, outgoing and easy-going, the hit of the local Petsmart and the vet. He's had a
sleepover already - with my friends who have two dogs - and it was fun for him to experience new things. He is
everyone's favorite puppy. He loves his toys, cheese and digging in sand.
He's an absolute delight./joan murphy

Hello, I will interested in purchasing a Corgi two to three years down the line, when I graduate and have my own place. I
am currently a college student who's family has a Corgi back home (and what delightful dogs they are!) I just wanted to
say I am so happy you posted that information on tail docking, and don't perform it on your puppies. While my dog's tail is
docked, there is no reason for it. I look forward to perhaps meeting you someday for a wonderful Corgi of my own!

Hi Susie!
Just wanted to let you know that Shelby(maliki&Krista) is wonderful. She's loving, gentle, and sooo smart. She adores
people and can't seem to understand that not everyone stops to tell her how beautiful she is. From day one, when she
sees someone approach she 'assumes the position', sitting patiently so they can come and ogle over her. If that rare
person actually walks by her she wants to follow them and get in front of them again to give them another chance. She
actually stops traffic when we take walks. People are always pulling over to give compliments.
She's amazing with our granddaughter, Megan. We were playing in a huge field one day and you could see that herding
instinct coming out. It was really fun to watch. Megan got sick one day and Shelby had to lay near her and wouldn't move.
Thank you for Shelby. I'll send more pictures and keep you updated as she grows.

Hi Susie! your Corgis and GSD's are stunning!! When I found your website I almost cried. Our East German bred GSD is in
liver failure and we are heartbroken. He was supposed to be my daughter's assistance dog. A service dog org. tried to
match her with multiple shepherds and they have all been failures for one reason or another. Mostly health reasons. She
has given up the idea of having a service dog. We had a corgi in the past and have talked about getting a pair of girls so
we each have one. We also wanted them to keep their tails. Wait til my daughter sees your dogs!! I was almost afraid to
look for a Corgi breeder but when I saw your dogs and all the titles they have earned and the health clearances I knew you
would be the one. A breeder who actually does things with her dogs! Imagine!!
God Bless and we hope to visit one day.

Hi Susie,
I wanted to give you a quick update on Emma (Maliki&Krista). She had her first visit to the nursing home today. She is a
natural. I'm still amazed at her behavior. She was a confident trooper everywhere she went. The wheelchairs were new to
her and spooked her just a smidge but she quickly became accustomed to being around them. The residents we visited
were, of course, happy to have her around. She would lie or sit at their feet for petting; I'm certain she would've stayed
with them had we left her there! When I went to move on, she gently got up and we went to the next person....it was like
she knew what she was there to do. There were 2 people in bed and they wanted Emma to be up at their level. I hoisted
her up to them and she very politely laid next their side while they got to pet her. She gave one man (picture attached)
kisses on his nose (he loved her!!). You've never seen so many elderly wheel-chair bound people scoot about so fast --
wanting time with Emma! I can't believe what a sweet girl she is in that type of environment. We were so proud of her -
you truly pegged her temperament and we can't be happier. Oh, and she was 28lbs at her veterinary visit on Friday at 12
wks old. We'll continue to be in touch.

Hi! Lucy (Maliki and Krist litter) is doing wonderfully. We couldn't be happier. Some particulars:
At her 12 week (11.5 weeks, really) vet visit, exactly a week ago, she was still healthy as a horse and 32.4 lbs. Needless
to say, she is not small. She's also not as clumsy anymore either, though. She's grown into her size a little and has
started to become very athletic.
Pete, our trainer, has seen her twice and is very impressed with what she can do. She is fully housebroken, can sit on
command about 95% of the time and always comes when you call her. We're working on "down" and "stay' and she's
picking it up - you can tell that she knows what you're saying to her - but sometimes if she's really excited about
something she's too distracted to really perform. She also has the whole "fetch" thing pretty much perfected and will
initiate play. Oh, and the "toy" in the pictures I'm attaching is something new she picked up just today.
For the next few weeks we're doing basic obedience on our own, then Pete will pick up with her once she's pretty solid on
all of the basic skills. She's a learner, though, and I expect she's going to do well no matter what.
She's crated at night and when there's no one home and is perfectly fine with it. She cried for about 15 minutes the first
night and hasn't uttered a peep since. She knows her routines (waking, meals, walking & bedtime) perfectly and has
started to alert us when it's time to do things. As behaviors go, I think we'll keep that one.
All in all, I think that about covers it. Questions or advice? It's always great to hear from you.
Give Krista a hug for me, she did good.

Personally, I would prefer to have a Corgi with a natural tail and see no reason whatsoever for a breed standard that
requires inflicting pain on the dog. God made them the way they are and I believe it's the height of arrogance to believe
that humans can 'improve' on that. If you would care to pass this along to AKC, please feel free to do so and to use my
name and contact info. I'd actually be interested in learning more about your prospective litters. We're looking for a Corgi
pup that might be ready to go home anytime after April or May, 2009. I have no color preference, but my husband does
love the tri-colors. Any information you'd be willing to send will be appreciated!

I thought you might want to know Dolly got a "thumps up" sign from the next Vice President of the United States.
Yesterday Dolly and I were walking in a park near our house. Across the Brandywine River we saw a small group of
people just milling about, there were about four SUVs and two Wilmington Police cars. When we crossed the river and
approached the group I saw it was Joe Biden, his wife, some other folks and several guys who were obviously Secret
Service. As we approached they were getting into the vechiles and pulling away. Dolly and I had to wait for them to pass in
front of us. Dolly was, of course, in a perfect sit position. As he went by Biden waved and when he saw Dolly, looking like
the perfect GSD, he smiled and gave her the tumbs up. Dolly seemed unimpressed by the Vice President.

We got our corgi from you 4.5 years ago, and she is just the most amazing dog ever. Incredibly smart, loving, and always
making us laugh. Not sure what we’d do without her.
I read on line that you were looking for feedback on cutting off their tails. We certainly would have bought her with one still
attached, and she’s very particular about letting anyone / anything near her butt. I blame it on phantom tail pain. So I’d vote
for leaving them as nature intended

Breeder
I would like to thank Suzie for her article on Tail Docking of Corgis. I also own a breed which people who don't know
better, insist on docking their tails. I raise and breed Australian Cattle dogs and I am PRO TAIL. I always felt this was cruel
and inhumane treatment to cut the tail of the dogs, same goes for breeds who continue to have their ears cut.
I will not and have never docked a tail and I won't sell to anyone who even ask me to do it. I have a feeling once the pup is
in their hands they will cut the tail and I won't have it.
Thank you for a great article on tail docking and thank you for your permission to use the article on my website.
Keep up the good work, you have beautiful dogs and if I was in the market for a Corgi, I would come to you without
hesitation.
Thanks for use of the article.

Non tail docking-yes!
I commend you are your non docking stance. I am not a show person or breeder, just a need for at least one corgi in the
family. It will be curious how you get placed in shows. I would love to see pictures of your dogs when they mature with the
natural tales . I have seen pictures of European dogs on the web and they look just like a fox. Good luck with the show
people, I bet some can be very critical of your efforts of change.

Hi Susie,
I applaud your decision to stop docking your corgi puppies' tails! I looked at your website last evening and read about the
pain the poor puppies suffer after docking, and it makes perfect sense to stop that needless procedure. How cute the
pups will be with their natural tails.
We bought "Trout" from you two years ago--she's been such an excellent dog for us. Such a winning personality, too.
She's kept our older corgi, Cedric, fit and trim by making him run and play with her.
Just wanted to touch base and tell you I approve of your decision.

Hello to all the Britta puppies owners. Our children are waiting desperatly to hear about the puppies. Britta is our beloved,
happy, smart, crazy and sweet dog, who never can play enough ball or gets never tired to sit next to the sandbox, to play

our children just want to hear how the puppies are doing.
They were so cute when they were small, they are probably even cuter now. Silvia

Just to let you know, Ziggy(corgi from Lexzzz and Jackpot) has more personality than any dog I've ever had . . . something
went VERY right in his breeding. He is sweet and loving but also a very big show-off, amusing everyone who comes over.
When we tire of throwing the ball for him, he's learned to throw it for himself and catch it in midair, pretty amazing to see
at times. I really need to do obedience classes with him a bit more and then move on to some agility training because I
think he would love it. Anyway, thanks again for Ziggy . . . he is an amazing dog. Sarah

Hello, Susie:
It's been a while since I've contacted you, but I was thinking of you the other day and wanted to say hello. I hope this e-
mail finds you and your extended family well. Ilsa is now 8 months old (from your 10/14/07 litter - Argus and Chloe) and is
doing great. She just completed Level 2 Obedience at Canine Creature Comforts and is everything you mention in your
web site. She's smart, funny, determined and loveable. She loves to chase her red Kong ball and swim. We hope to go all
the way to Canine Good Citizens and Schutzhund - we think she has the right temperament for it. We work very hard to
socialize her with people and other animals, and it seems to be working.
Ironically, when we attended the SPCA's Walk for Paws event in April we met Ilsa's aunt - Adie - who is Argus' sister. It
was amazing to me how much they looked alike. It turns out that Adie also goes to Canine Creature Comforts and there's
a good chance that they play together.
We had her spayed at 5-1/2 months and she's also been micro chipped. The vet told us that he hated to spay her because
he would have loved to have had one of her pups. My husband, Bill, is lucky enough to work from home , so gets to spend
the most time with her. He works with her constantly and we often hear comments on how well trained and well behaved
she is for such a young dog. We also hear how lovely she is and are often asked where we got her, so I hope you've had
lots of folks come see you for puppies, because we've told everyone who's asked how great we think you and your
animals are.
I've attached a couple of photos so you can see what a truly great dog she is becoming. The 2nd photo is Ilsa with her
best friend, Sadie our neighbor's Aussie. They love to run and play together. There's one missing - a Dalmatian mix,
Maggie who Ilsa and Sadie have helped rehabilitate. She was very shy and couldn't go out in crowds, and these two dogs
were instrumental in helping her overcome those traits.
Enjoy your summer.
Kind regards,
Chris Jones

list we do not trust anyone else to buy a female from. You are above and beyond an excellent breeder we get so many
compliments on our dog every day, so we will wait as long as it takes it for a compatible female. Thank you for all of your
help and for being such an excellent breeder.

While walking in Valley Forge with Kitchi this week, I was approached by a young couple who has been looking for a GSD.
They said, "we can't find any we like, and the breeders we have incountered have not been what we want", however
when they saw Kitchi, they wanted to know where we got him. They commented on his disposition, behavior, size and
coloring. I referred them to E-Z Brooke Kennels and told them they would be very pleased with your standards for
breeding. I hope they contact you soon.
Today is Kitchi's birthday, he is 3 months old, son of Argus and Krista. He is such a joy. He is just what the doctor ordered
after we lost our beautiful Sapa on March 12, 2008.
I forgot how much energy puppies had, but it is good, doesn't give me time to think. Oh, I still miss Sapa greatly, but with
Kitchi requiring all that puppy time, it does help.
Here is a picture taken today, on his birthday.
What wonderful dogs you breed, we can tell he had been loved and really cared for before he became ours. We saw it in
your eyes when you handed him over to me how much you loved him.
Thanks for loving him first.

Kitchi
Hi Suzie, What a wonderful breeder you are. Our Kitchi is such a good puppy. He is from the Argus and Krista litter born
Jan. 26 2008. He has been in puppy classes since he was 8 1/2 weeks old. He is doing very well, he is so smart, I know we
all say we have the smartest puppy. He is my baby and really wants to please me. I love him so much. Phyllis and Rick

Hi Suzie,
We just wanted to let you know that Zelda (Jackpot & Misty Morning) has been a great puppy, intelligent beyond our
expectations and is doing wonderfully. We saw some stubbornness in her for about one month (testing us I guess) a
couple months back. When she found it wasn't going to work on us, it went as fast as it arrived. She has recently been
spayed, stitches are out, doing well with that and has all of her puppy shots to our knowledge. While active, she isn't
hyper, listens well to commands, eats great (Pro Plan Selects), is virtually housetrained, and loves to take long walks
(and jogs) with us if you get her early in the day. Loves everyone she meets, people and dogs alike, and they admire her
beauty. She is a keeper! Thanks for sharing your love of dogs with us.

I wanted to give you an update on our german shepherd puppy, Koda. She is from the Chloe/Argus litter. She is now 4
months old and is absolutely gorgeous. She is now 46lbs (she had her vet checkup yesterday). She is also starting to
loose her baby teeth as her "big girl" teeth come in. We will be happy when they are all in. Since the end of January we
have been taking puppy obiedience classes with her. She has been picking up on things very easily. We have gotten so
many great comments on her demeanor and looks.
We hope all is well at the kennel.

I was very happy to have found your web site. I was the happy owner of 2 wonderful GSDs. I lost my beloved Rhandi last
April and my beautiful Diva is aging rapidly. She is my kindred spirit so I am currently not looking for a GSD but will keep
your kennel in mind when I am ready. Thanks for the wonderful pictures and information that your web site provides.

Ms.
I am very impressed with all the positive emails your past customers have written. Indeed you appear to be an amazing
breeder. I lost my beloved GSD this past November, she was family. I am looking for another wonderful GSD either
purchase or adoption.

We lost our wonderful German Shepherd, Urbi last July 4th weekend. We adopted her at age six after she retired as a
seeing eye dog. We had the privilege of caring for her and loving her for one week shy of eight years. I am soon to retire
and am looking forward to welcoming another GSD into our family in the not too distant future. I will be in touch. Bonnie

Hi Susie,
Happy 2008!! I've been meaning to send you a picture of Drinda for so long! Every time I think of it she has changed so
much from the last picture. She's 5 months now and getting close to 60 pounds, From Gunther and Trinity's litter.
Everywhere we go we hear how beautiful she is and what a wonderful temperament she has! People pull over in their
cars while we walk her to look at her and ask questions about her, we always refer you every chance we have! She is
very socialized and such a terrific family addition. Last night we took her to Petsmart and a little girl about 3 years old ran
up to her to pet her, tripped and stumbled in to Drinda and fell down. Drinda just bent right down and started licking the
little girl's cheek, she wasn't spooked or startled at all. She loves people, children, and play dates with other dogs. She
does something new and funny everyday, currently she's losing her puppy teeth (hooray!) We couldn't be happier and we
thank you so much for being a breeder with such high standards, it really shows in all of your puppies/dogs!!! If you've
received any pictures from owners of other 7/24/07 puppies, I would love to see them! Have a great 2008, Lorraine and

We purchased Samson in July 2006 (born May 17, 2006), brother of Argus. Not only is he handsome, but his temperment
is outstanding. I have a 3 year old boy that loves to play with him. Even at 110 lbs, I have no worries. Thank you for
breeding such wonderful dogs. I would recommend you to anyone interested in a GSD and will definetly consider another
in the future.

Hi Susie,
Let me tell you a little about Dexter from Argus and Victoria's litter. As you said, he is a
handful, but so much fun. Dexter is intelligent, has a great temperment, and
loves people. If he sees anyone when he is out for his walk, he wants
to meet him. Dexter is also funny; he always has us laughing about
something. Dexter is always happy and playful and, believe it or not,
very affectionate. Although not for long periods of time, Dexter does
love to snuggle with us on the bed or couch and generally gives us kisses
on command. Dexter is also very athletic. He loves to run, and run,
and run.
We are so thankful to have him and especially to have received him
one month after we lost our precious Watson.
Sincerely
Michael and Connie Flanagan

We bought a corgi from you beginning of this year. Could not be happier, she is so well socialized and happy. She
brightens our day and she travels with us extremely well. Took her, Lily of Oxford, camping with us and she had a ball.
Everyone at the campground fell in love with her. John wants to get another one so we may be contacting you soon.
Thank you again, Lily is a delight and a pleasure to have in our lives. We can not praise you enough. We also had her
heritage done through the AKC for kicks. To our surprise she had 11 champions in her bloodline. Well done, bravo to you,
our hats off to you. Again, thank you very much!!!! Gloria & John

Hi Susie,
I just wanted to take a moment and tell you what a great experience it was buying Brutus( Victoria and Blitz litter) through
you. I feel that as a breeder you are very competent, answered questions and I believe you are there for the family’s who
may have questions/concerns even after the purchase of the dog. I didn’t imagine how great a dog Brutus would turn out
to be. He has every great trait this breed is known for and is a very important member of our family. Yes, he is very
spoiled. Well, I could go on and on about how great he is…did I mention how handsome he is?
As it is too often, we don’t always take the time to say the positive things, only the negative. I recently thought this myself
when a very good friend of mine had the opposite experience with her breeder. It was just terrible.
Thank you again and I hope your family has a great holiday season.

Susie:
We purchased Roxi in October 2004 and she was born Sept 11, 2004. Sire was Full Moons Love Dispencer and the Dam
was E-Z Brooks Tazi. She was the last one left when we got there and we instantly fell in love with her. She is the most
adorable, social, loving little girl. Every time we go for a walk, she thinks everyone is there just to say hi to her. I say that
it's a social event, not just a walk! She has brought so much joy into our life! We can't thank you enough for doing such a
fine job of breeding. She has no health problems whatsoever and has a great personality!

Just wanted to say thank you for the beautiful puppy that we purchased earlier this year, from the Krista and Argus litter.
She is a great addition to our family. We named her Maggie Mae Moyer. We get compliments all of the time of how
beautiful she is. She loves walking around the neighborhood because she thinks that everyone is there to greet her.
She has helped us both recover from losing our shepherd in early February. Thanks again.
Sincerely,
Tricia Regan-Moyer

Duke @ 6 months. He is the son of Argus & Krista litter of 3/07. He is the most amazing dog with an excellent disposition
our vet asked for your name because she was so impressed with him at 5 months. He is so easy to train, and seems to
excel at tracking & searching. He is a beautiful dog and he is such a pleasure.

I have had Shepherd's my entire career, obtained from "top notch breeders", and have trained many through the years
also obtained by "top breeders" and "imported" by my clients. I have never encountered a German Shepherd that
possessed the intelligence, working ability, health and overall excellent genetics as I have with your dogs. Xena is going
to enable me to accomplish everything I want or have ever wanted to both professionally and personally due to your
excellent breeding standards.
I love all dogs, but the German Shepherd is, and always has been, my personal breed of choice. The steady decline in the
genetics I have seen just in the past 10 years with this breed has been heartbreaking, to say the least.
I want to personally thank you for breeding such genetically sound, healthy, intelligent, german shepherds. Both
personally and professionally I am grateful for your breeding standards and wish all german shepherd breeders had to
abide by them. My vet was astounded at the quality of my dog, both from a clinical standpoint as well as a behavioral one
which can only be attributed, as a young puppy, to sound genetics and excellent breeding.
I want to, once again, express my sincerest gratitude for your breeding standards and to also tell you I look forward to
obtainin"g my next dog from you also. Father is "Argus and mother is "Krista"
Sincerely,
Sheri Venza

We bought our lil corgi bundle of joy last year, 2006. Since then we have fallen head over heels in love with Kiba. Suzie did
a great job raising him for the first 2 months of his life. We hope to live up to that example. I have to say though, at only
27lbs and 3 ft long, he is a handsome lil devil and everyone that meets him loves him. Thanx!
